Thank you! I love this tool!!

The license says this may not be used for commercial purposes..Is it possible to download or buy another action pack which looks the same but which allows for commercial use?

  • psdcovers

This type of licence involves a lawyer to draw up the legal papers and I don’t have the time for that right now. The moment you start selling something you must support it and provide the means for refunds and updates etc. It can be a world of pain for a one-man operation, much easier to give it away for free.

There are other Action sites out there but i don’t recall any of them allowing for the type of commercial use that would allow end users to resell the Actions.

  • Honest

I just meant that I want to use this action pack for promoting and selling my e-book and book. Is that allowed? I wasn’t looking for resale rights of the action pack.

  • psdcovers

Absolutely, you can use the Actions to promote any product you like!

    Great Creatives!

When I downloaded this file. The .rar contained a .atn file, and not a .psd ~ First time seeing this filetype. Is there a step that I missed to get the .psd?

Going to research on Google now, hope to get a response soon, Thanks.

  • psdcovers

Correct. There are no PSD files. What you downloaded was a Photoshop *script*. This file will create the PSD template and then your final render. Please follow the tutorial on the site to get through your first mockup.

    Hi psdcover

I am kind in the same boat as ‘Honest’ , and i was wondering if we can use this action pack (and other in general) for promoting and selling a small up&coming magazine within the website and on our social site.

Will that be allowed & free or would there be a price added to it. (if u got email i can show u what i mean)

    Read my Commercial Use page:

    http://www.psdcovers.com/commercial-use/

I can’t recall the context in which I posted the reply above but the term “Commercial Use” has many varied interpretations. All the Actions on this site are free for Commercial Use where the intention is to promote your product or service. However, there is a group of people out there that feel “Commercial Use” means they can download all the Actions and *sell* the Actions on their sites.

I’ve had people download the Actions from this site and post them for sale on Graphic River within hours or their release. I can’t think of anything more insulting (and clearly against all the usage terms on this site).

The Commercial Use page should shed light on my terms.

Using the Actions to promote your magazine is perfectly fine.
